ACCOUNTING FIRM HALT, BUZAS & POWELL ANNOUNCES NEW HIRE FROM SPRING CAMPUS RECRUITING EVENT

ALEXANDRIA, VA., June 29, 2010 – Partners Steve Halt, Mike Buzas, and Andy Powell, of Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P), welcome William Michael (Mike) Rafferty to the accounting firm.

HB&P has established recruiting at local college campuses as part of their growth plan. William Michael Rafferty is an outstanding achiever.  He earned double Bachelor degrees in Accounting and in Information Systems
and Operations Management from George Mason University.  While attending college, Mike held two different accounting internships where he gained valuable experience working in a professional environment.  In addition, he co-founded Delta Chi, a fraternity now at George Mason University.  “Building a fraternity from the ground up was a rewarding experience for me,” said Mike. “The project helped to develop my leadership and teamwork skills and taught me the importance of good interpersonal skills,” concluded Rafferty.
