HALT, BUZAS & POWELL ANNOUNCES NEW STAFF I ACCOUNTANT
KATHERINE CLARE POLHAMUS

ALEXANDRIA, VA., July 10, 2009 –Partners Steve Halt, Mike Buzas, and Andy Powell, of Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P), welcome Katherine Clare Polhamus to the accounting firm.

Prior to joining HB&P, Katherine attended George Mason University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. During this time, Katherine received a business-writing award and made the Dean’s List. She also attended the Euromed Marseille School of Management, where she traveled to Marseille France and completed summer courses in Cross Cultural Global Management and Managing in a Global Economy.

In her new position with HB&P, Katherine will work full-time as a Staff I Accountant, while completing her Masters of Accountancy from George Mason University. “I was most impressed with Katherine’s desire to follow in her Father’s footsteps, as well as, her enthusiasm to begin her career in public accounting. We are delighted to have Katherine join our firm,” said Managing Partner Mr. Steve Halt.
