John Olenick joins Halt, Buzas & Powell as new Director

ALEXANDRIA, VA., – Partners Steve Halt, Mike Buzas, and Andy Powell, of Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P), welcome John Olenick to the accounting firm.

John has worked exclusively in and around the accounting industry for over 25 years. Most recently, John was the President of an Accounting Services firm in Maryland and prior to that was Managing Partner and Founder of a staffing and executive search firm focusing on the accounting profession. He has a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and started his career at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). "Being a part of the accounting profession for so long gives me a great opportunity to provide a unique insight to the strategy and tactics in growing the practices of the firm," said John. "Knowing how organizations and companies operate will help identify opportunities to expand into new industries and drive the firm's evolution of existing services and clients."   

In his new role at HB&P, John will spearhead strategies to develop the practices of the firm and help fuel the firm's growth by building partnerships and strategic relationships.
