AS AUDIT MANAGER

ALEXANDRIA, VA. December 4, 2009 – CPA and Management Consulting firm Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P) announced today that Michael Sharp has joined the firm as Audit Manager.

Mr. Sharp has over 13 years in public accounting performing audit, accounting, and tax preparation services for closely held businesses, nonprofit organizations, government contractors, local government, and individuals.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Dyke College – Cleveland, Ohio and a Master of Science from The Johns Hopkins University-Baltimore, MD. He is a Certified Public Accountant, registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
