CHRISTOPHER G. HENDRICKSON JOINS HALT, BUZAS & POWELL AS SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
ALEXANDRIA, Va., December 18 – CPA and Management Consulting firm Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P) announced today that Christopher Hendrickson has joined the firm as Senior Accountant.
Mr. Hendrickson comes to HB&P from a Regional CPA firm, where he supervised and performed financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits, reviews, and compilations. He also mentored and developed incoming staff accountants for advanced level positions.
Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Polytechic and State University, Blacksburg, VA in May of 2005. Prior to earning his B.S. in accounting Christopher studied business abroad in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland and traveled throughout seven European countries, and explored a wide variety of cultures and businesses.
At HB&P Mr. Hendrickson will assist Partner Andrew Powell and Audit Manager Erica Roque in the firm’s rapidly growing audit practice. “Christopher has considerable experience for a recent college graduate,” said Powell. “I was very impressed by Christopher’s academic achievements and his progressive career growth in public accounting,” commented Ms. Roque.
