HB&P Senior Accountant Erica Roque Completes Uniform CPA Exam

ALEXANDRIA, Va., September 18, 2006 – Partners Mike Buzas, Steve Halt and Andy Powell, of accounting firm Halt, Buzas and Powell (HB&P) join in congratulating their Senior Accountant Erica Roque, who recently passed the final portion of the Uniform CPA exam.

“We encourage all of our staff and senior accountants to earn their CPA accreditation and assist them in every way possible,” explained Halt. “We are especially proud of Erica’s achievement. While she was diligently working to earn her CPA designation, she was also excelling as an HB&P Senior Accountant. We are delighted that her hard work and dedication have paid off.”

Erica first joined Halt, Buzas and Powell in 2002 as an intern when she was studying accounting at George Washington University. She has increasingly excelled to her current position as a Senior Accountant, where she works on various projects including oversight on many of the firm’s audits and tax engagements.

She serves on the firm’s Paperless Committee and has been instrumental in developing HB&P’s paperless procedures. Additionally, she provides audit and software training and serves as a mentor to junior accounting staff.
