HB&P’s salary and benefits package mirrors what large firms offer and has the flexibility that only a small firm can provide. It is the nature of public accounting that requires employees to work harder and put in longer hours during the busy tax season. To compensate for this hard work, we offer unique Comp Time program that allows you to accrue time over your budgeted hours and choose either to get paid for the time at the end of the quarter, or let the extra time accrue and use it as additional leave.

In addition, other monetary bonuses are given out at the discretion of the partners to reward employees for exceptional performance, and in the summer months, you will enjoy lighter work schedules.

Our new Bowie office is located in a newly constructed office building off of MD 301. Bowie, located just 12 miles east of Washington and only 20 miles from Baltimore, is one of the fastest-growing areas in Maryland. Bowie is home to the popular Bowie Baysox, the AA minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team, and has numerous other recreation opportunities available including public and private golf courses, over 12 miles of biking and hiking trails and over 20 public parks.
